Warning

We here at WHN do not condone the exploitation
of the homeless and poor. No matter how funny
or hilarious it may be.

Locke has an unhealthy fascination with Gabe
from Penny-Arcade. If he is not careful it
could turn into a problem. I am still hearing
from Robocop's lawyers.

I finished Silent Hill 4. I would have to say
this is my least favorite of the quadrilogy.
I think it may be due to the controls and
camera. Or it may be the fact that playing
through the second half of the game is just
playing the first half of the game only this
time you have a handicapped woman trailing
20 feet behind you attacking everything in
sight. There is also a lot of backtracking
and then some more backtracking. Plus the
ghost enemies do not die. They are annoying.
You beat them down. Then go a few steps and
they are back after you. You do get special
swords to keep them in place. But there only
4 swords in the game. Bunches of ghosts plus
limited supplies equals controller throwing.
The storyline was strange to say the least.
And the creepiness factor of the game is
still there and must be taken into
consideration. After playing Resident Evil
4, the gameplay just does not compare any
more. I do not know how many times that I
would be aiming at someone and then I would
miss. Overall, if you like the Silent Hill
games I would give it a rent. Otherwise the
controls would bring anyone to tears.

Now back to the books. Enjoy the comic!

A Truly Great Man

I just read that Gabe of Penny-Arcade has done a
cover for a book. I mention this because I don't
understand how he keeps doing these kinds of
things. Not because he isn't a great artist,
which he obviously is because like most other web
comics he puts me to shame, but I mean being able
to do covers for magazines and doing his own
comics about video games. It just boggles my mind
that a man can make a living doing what he loves.
Not to mention organizing something like Child's
Play and thinking about PAX just makes me want to
pee all over my pants. Just kidding, I haven't
done that in weeks, but seriously if anyone can
give me some insight as in how to achieve his
god-like greatness, let me know.

I keep reading about other webcomic artists getting
e-mails about being late for an update. I for one
have never gotten upset or angry over a missed
update. I mean, these artists are people. They have
lives and they are taking time out of them to
perform a service for people like me. Now don't get
me wrong. I'd like to recieve e-mails about people
complaining about a missed date, at least then I'd
know that someone reads these things. My point is
that people just need to calm down. If an update is
missed, send the creator an e-mail asking them if
they're okay. Maybe they're having some kind of
emergency. Then they'll be like "Hey this guy cares
about what's happening to me." Then after a while of
gaining his trust, lure him out somewhere a kidnap
him/her, and hold them for ransom. Not that I've been
planning this or anything.

"WHN and its subsidiaries does not condone the cool
and brilliant act of kidnapping, fool!"
