Brothers In Arms
So I planned to play Brothers In Arms yesterday, but as usual,
the local game providers do not have it. Hobbes preordered a
copy but it should come in today. From what I've seen it looks
pretty rad. I played Full Spectrum Warrior which I thought was
fun, and BiA seems to be very similar, except that you can
actually control and shoot as the soldiers. I'll talk more
about that on Friday when I've finally played it.
I've finally made the decision that I hate this town. Well not
so much the town itself, but the people in it. I've had to
sit through countless discussions in classes where my fellow
students can carry on conversations about how they're so funny
they should be in stand-up. First off, you're not funny.
Secondly, you're ugly. The latter is really just an
observation, but nonetheless I stand by it.
The people here just don't seem to leave this town. As if they
have some sort of chain tying them to this stink hole. Most of
the people I went to high school with are still here and let me
tell you they're not the brightest people in the world. The
smarter people went off to better colleges in the state and
others have even left state. I must admit that I myself am still
here, However, I'm gonna try and transfer from this town and
go to school in Norman. My point is, I see this town with the
same people in it. I see that in the future, with little
diversity in the population and with the residents' children,
and their children's children, continuing to stay in this town,
at some point imbreeding will occur. Soon this town will be over
run with toothless men and women sitting on their porches with
the trade mark "jug o' moonshine" under one arm and shotgun
under the other, cursing big city folk about their damn
"horseless carriages" and their "witch doctors."
Yep, one more generation and we'll be there.
