Anime Good

I checked out a couple of new animes this week.
I watched King of Bandit Jing and Full Metal
Panic. King of Bandit Jing was pretty good.
A nice adventure story about a young bandit
and his smart mouthed bird. Full Metal Panic
was very cool. The animation was well done and
the designs of the mechs were very cool. I still
don't know what genre it falls under yet. I'll
get back to that after I watch some more.

Old Shows; New Light

I watched Transformers the Movie over the weekend 
and realized how good it, and the original show, 
was. The old shows I watched as a child have seem
to have festered and become something awful like 
an open wound. Thundercats, Voltron, they've all 
become horrible shows in there old age.  I watch 
it and think to myself, "How could I have possibly 
enjoyed this?" However, some shows have maintained 
there level of greatness.  The Transformers and G.I. 
Joe are still some of my favorites.  Watching them 
now makes me realize that back in the day, I was 
too young to really appreciate them.  The new 
Transformers spin-offs they're churning out make 
me want to vomit with rage. Like most things, they 
took something I loved and killed it like a small 
animal.
